Last night The Untitled Magazine celebrated at the Meatpacking district's No.8 lounge.  In honor of the magazine's 7th "Legendary" collector's issue, the fete was hosted by Editor-In-Chief Indira Cesarine and Style Director Philip Bloch.  The Karloff Paris -sponsored event was strictly limited to a list of invited guests, and after fighting my way through a predictable crowd of hopefuls trying to bargain their way inside, I walked into the packed venue to find a mix of industry insiders including editors and contributors, photographers, and talent.

It was a fairly quintessential scene for inside No.8, with cocktails flowing while the stylish crowd danced to the beats of DJ's May Kwok and David Katz.  Untitled added a few of it's own touches, lining the walls with large-scale images of the limited-edition front and back covers and a massive video projection of behind-the-scenes shots from the mag's editorials.  Copies of the issue - which features "Living Legends" and "Future Legends" of 2014 including Brooke Shields, Chanel Iman, DJ Tiesto, Oh Land, and Boy George, to name a few - were splayed across the cocktail tables and banquettes.

After examining one of the thick, glossy copies for myself, I can say this was an occasion worthy of celebration.  A friend remarked how impressed he was by Untitled's quality, and I had to agree.  This isn't your average newsstand distraction; the magazine speaks to luxury in it's esthetic and design, and the "Legendary" issue presents insightful content and engaging images with it's examination of influencers in fashion, film, and music.
