Working on this site has been a labour of love, a personal adventure, and a full-time job in its own right. But part of my reason (and credibility) for creating Big City Little Dress has been to share my insights that come from working professionally in the fashion industry in New York and my experiences as a result of the lifestyle that comes with it. As is the nature of the industry, I've found myself constantly evolving and searching for opportunities that I hope will lead to a successful and long-lasting career.
I'm extremely happy and excited to announce that my most recent step in this direction has been to accept a position working in production and web coordination at Le Book, an iconic mainstay of the fashion and creative industries for over 3 decades. The print book has been dressed by some of the most notable names in fashion, including Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes, Vogue, Christian Lacroix, and most recently Marni, LeBook.com is a go-to resource for some of the biggest and best in fashion and creative work, and it's custom-tailored trade show Connections has brought thousands of participants together in cities like New York, Paris, LA, Amsterdam, Chicago, and London.
I'm so excited for this new opportunity and to be working with such an amazing team! Undoubtedly, my regular occupancy of Soho will come with no shortage of experiences and observations to share. In the words of Karl Lagerfeld himself, "You can't book without Le Book".
